Azures have a white stem that stains blue.

There is a hell of a lot of differences between P. weilii and P. azurescens.

About three thousand miles.

if you'll read his post again, slowly this time, you'll see that he knows there is a difference between the two, and that sometimes weilii can look somewhat similar to an azure (that he has only seen in pics, i might add).

Ist is that they are similar, all Psilocybe mushrooms have certain characteristics which identifiy the generea.

I even have picture sof P. cubensis and P. caerulescens with wavy caps just like P. cyanescens.

ADnd inthe young stages allthe caps are closed, incureved a t the margins etc., bell or conical or cone-shaped. etc.
