Holy shit kussh i almost fell off my chair!! that was hilarious-thanks. but to end your discussion, a solid test to do when picking any mushroom is to cut it with a knife (do the same to every mushroom u find/pick) and compare. While this is not 100% guaranteed as there are psychoactive mushrooms that do not turn blue, and poisonous ones that do, so do not take this as a fool proof way to test for potency. but other species of psychoactive shrooms that are higher in alkaloid content turn a much darker blue incredibly quicker. as a general test, cut it and watch it blue before your eyes. the bluer it goes, the fastest, the stronger they COULD be.

but the oxidation of the psilocybin adn its alkiloids is a bad thing and renders them useless! thats what ive been told over and over again! i mean yeah if u want to test ur shroomies by bruising them go ahead! me....i would just eat to test personaly!!

The bluing of the mushroom does not effect potency at all, in my experience. Whatever psilocybin is lost during the bruising process is minimal, if any.
I have eaten completely bruised shrooms that are dark blue over the entire stem and still tripped my nuts off! It does not render them useless.

Back to the original question.. I would say based on personal experience, the darker and faster it bruises blue, the more potent. There are exceptions of course...but in my experiences the cubes that have turned blue the quickest and over the most area are the ones I've had the most intense trips from.

Blueing has no coalation with potency. Its simple brusing. Poke the mushy with a stick long enough and it will turn damn blue.

My weak mushies are proof that blueness does not indicate higher potency. In fact, it simply signifies the undergoing of the deoxidiation, or the loss of oxygen. These mushrooms were an extremely beautiful blue, but lacked any sort of potency. It is a known fact that blueness is not necessarily related to potency.
