WBS question

I just got my PC and at lunch time I'm going to get some WBS. I'm going to an exotic bird shop that sells seed by the bulk and by individual seed type. My question is, Is there a particular seed within the WBS that would work good as a stand alone seed for spawn?

WBS contains mostly millet, milo, sunflower seeds, and a few others. I've heard plain millet is good.

I love the size and shape of the milo (sorghum).
I bought a bag of just milo from AzureStandard, to try it out on it's own, but have not done this yet.
Good luck,
JD

after a little more sleuthing I decided to just get a bag of Pennington's. The moral majority seems to think Myc likes a balanced diet. If I wasn't such a cheap bastard I would just get some Rye....fuck it, I'm getting Rye berries!!!!! Thanks for the input you guys.

Whaaatt!!
I've only managed to find the "Home 360 Pet" brand out here in a few random grocery stores. It's about $8.00 for a 10LB bag. I guess I shouldn't complain considering a single bag gets me through 3 mono tubs, but come on!!
Maybe I'll try to hit up a nearby town and see what they've got.

I get this, too. 20lb bag for $7 isn't bad for a grab-n-go!
Make sure to check the bags for small weird-looking black bugs with like pointer things on the face.... not bed bugs but holy shit do they get all over your room and in dark places like drawers! Had a ton of these things come from no where a month after buying some WBS and cracked corn (a lot were in the corn).
