    #15688464 - 01/19/12 01:59 PM (12 years, 5 months ago)

hi there,

i have read few posts about method of freezing the cakes in order to boost pining

can anyone explain me about this a little?

i have cubensis cakes which i create using pf tek, and its about the fifth day since birthing and still no sign of pins at all

i did not dunk the cakes just took them out of the jars after about a month of colonization and put into fruiting container with pelite
i fan and mist it once a day 12h light 12h dark and still nothing..

should i try freezing it?

any suggestions?

thanks!

PS. C. do not need a cold shock to initiate pinning. That's for gourmets.

You need to dunk your cake for 24 hours after birthing, then roll in verm after the dunk.
Then you put it in you SGFC.
Your cakes are probably way too dry right now for any pins to form.

Therefore, I'd dunk those cakes.
