Those kilos or dumbbells? Either way, those are awesome numbers!!

I challenge you to challenge yourself more! When you feel complacent and ready to hang it up, challenge yourself to get over it! If you fail, don't look at it as you didn't succeed, look at it as you would a rock face you're trying to climb. Stand back, wayyyy back, and look at it and plot another path. If you can't find one, shuffle down the way a little, a little change of scenery or a view from a different angle may give you the insight you need.

kilos, and dumbbells.:whoo:

okay, just kilos.:wink::grin:

thanks! I was very pleased with my efforts. after a couple of crappy sessions this year I was aiming for finishing on maybe 130x1 in a worse case scenario, so the reps after that were fucking delicious gravy.:grin:

You're nutso! I went shooting today, taught the girlfriend about gun safety, now I'm off for squats. I've neglected every other body part on account of full body soreness after these sessions. I may do some dumbbell presses, but without a spotter I'll probably keep them light. Still on track for my 550! Strength gains and solidity are constant, which is really rewarding. Hopefully by the time I go for 550 I'll be set enough I'll just have my buddy record it and I'll post it on here!

Good lifting fellas!

Why aren't there any chicks here?

they're too scared they'll get all bulky and butch just from reading our words.
women aren't interested in lifting heavy weights, that's for men to do while women watch, and say "Oh, I thought you were going to lift it over your head? Good going anyway I guess, I couldn't pick up half that much, probably."

Lol sexism at its finest hahaha. There's gotta be at least one female powerlifter or at least a few that workout that could benefit here. It's quite funny when I pick up shit and my gf or orher female friends are impressed....great for the ego.

Did my 5x7 @ 305 today and it was tough as shit. Had to call myself a pussy bitch and really psych myself up to do the last 7, but it was done. For some reason it was Bosnian techno night at the gym, so I bailed shortly after, that and this massive Bosnian dude (guy's arms are massive, and he's an obvious gear user) really made me feel weak. He's probably not much bigger than me, but his bank roll is deeper and he can get good gear. I really gotta go in tomorrow and hit chest and shoulders.

Man it's definitely not worth a lifetime of being dicked around with by the cops. If you need help or anything feel free to :pm: me. I've never really battled with addiction but I see it almost daily and have been affected by it. Not sure if I can be much help, but I'm definitely an outside view with some knowledge on the physiological aspect, as well as someone who'll listen....read... Either way, glad you got out of it!

Good to hear you got out of it WWW.

Got a great lift in today. I have lowered all my lifts by about 5 or 10 pounds, but I do them very slowly and with perfect form, making sure to keep as much strain as physically possible on the specific muscle group to make it do more work. The pump feels really good and it's making me sore, so seems to be working.
