A few growing questions
    #1567805 - 05/22/03 01:15 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

Hey all!!! I am on my first grow and I got a few questions that I was unable to find in the shroomery!!!! First of all, Should I remove any of the pins that are forming on my cake before I case it??? And 2nd can it be too hot in a terrarium?? I have a heating pad under a 76litre sterilite container filled to 1.5 inches with perilite and 1inch of water!!!! The perilite is pretty warm!!! I did the casing in tin bread pans!! I also have a milk jugg with the top cut off and an air bubbler to keep it humid!!! Does all this sound kool or what???? Let me know PLS!!!!!!!!

Later

The air bubbler is cool for air exchange, though when using perlite properly, there is no need for an added source of humidity. Your RH should stay very near 100% without additional help if all is right with your setup. Also, watch the water content, you wont need more than that one inch. And yes, your terrarium can become too hot. 75-76 F is what you're looking for when fruiting.
