HUMIDITY DURING COLONIZATION...
    #1567648 - 05/22/03 12:27 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

HI!! i was reading the FAQ and there says that the humidity during this step must be about 7 0 %. My friend got his jars in a acuariumm with nothing more than a hourglas inside wich gives an optimus temperature. Can there be a problem of humidity??. Is this too much problem ??should i be too worried??
Thanks for your answers...take care you all....bye

Humidity during colonization is somewhat of a moot point. At the very least, you should not worry, not as long as the humidity is not excessivly high or low.

the jars usualy provide the humidity for colonization, if you did it right the environment in the jar is going to be different than whatever is outside anyway.... thats one of the points of doing it in a jar.
