Small stringy shrooms falling over (coir)

These are some cubensis grown on rye and spawned to coir/verm no casing.
This first flush started pinning weeks ago and is just now growing a few tiny, stringy shrooms.
I think we fucked up by forgetting to mist for a while at first after putting em into fruiting
I'm wondering if we should pick these and dunk now or what else to do to salvage the batch.

I may be wrong but i would think lack of moisture. I always case to add and hold moisture. Plus the lack of misting probably didnt help.

Ive never dunked a casing but some people say you can leave the pins while dunking cakes. But i dont know. even if you pick them all off and get the moisture in there and hope for a good next flush. Its worth a try. But i would wait to see if anyone that has had that issue comment so you have a better idea. Good luck.

if it was dry you would see it pulling away from the edge of the pan. or shrinking what are you fruiting it in?

what size are your holes? and you might want to adjust how tight the polyfill is to let more in if the holes are the standard size

i actually didnt make any holes, Blehmaestro was showing me how to do this the way he did his last flushes, and he didnt use holes either. I just take the lid off 2-3x a day and fan them for a few seconds and re cover.

Im not knowledgeable enough yet to know if its moisture or FAE, but the second tub which is 2 weeks behind is already pinning, and was cased/misted properly, and appears to be much better.

No polyfill holes we are in AZ so just fanning them, but we can add them if it will help. I fruited extremely plentiful using this same method however.

well i dont think that it is moisture otherwise you would see shrinking. and the fact that they are thin and small most of the time means it needs more air. if you are afraid that FAE holes will lead to over drying because you are in an arid climate i would have to ask one more thing about your tub. is it the long and short one or tall and close to the same size as your tray at the bottom?

They are tall tubs. They are probably 2.5 feet tall and 3 feet long 1.5ft wide.
Also the media is definitely shrinking and pulling away.

ok well if the medium is shrinking (could not tell by the pictures) i would go ahead and do a dunk. if you have had success with your method i would stick to it. part of growing is finding what works best for you.
