How long before aluminum trays would degrade?

Just curious how long it takes for those disposable aluminum trays to degrade from mycelium. For instance, let's say you spawned some goliath to poo in it and went through the normal routines while they fruited and such. Would it eat through the trays before flushes were done, or is it if you try and reuse trays numerous times?

i like it keep the block in the tray for the first flush, then remove it for the dunk then fruit with out the tray after that. that minimizes the degradation of the trays.
best of luck with your fungi adventure! PM me if you got any questions!

Wow that's what I was worried about...not that it's terribly hard to separate it using some plastic grocery bags or anything, was just curious.

I've had holes in large turkey pans and bread pans before the end of first flush many times. With other species, they might last a few flushes. It's best not to use aluminum trays at all. RR
