I'm not as experienced as most people here at the forum, but have gotten advice from many VERY experienced people (Anno, Roadkill, and the likes), the mycellium should last quite a while, and if you put the jars in the refridgerator (sp?, intoxicated) they should last a VERY long time (months).

I have in my posession a jar that has both bacterial and trich contamination, it's half colonized with mycelium, the har has never been refridgerated and never properly stored....it is on its 4th invitro flush.....I have not harvested any, I have left them in to rot....the jar has been on the waterheater 'incubating' since november...
my guess is that Anno and Roadkill are right....it will last quite some time even under very adverse conditions....but proper care it can last a great deal longer

No shit! My buddy's got a couple forgotten jars chillin' in the closet. He keeps neglecting the poor guys, and they keep putting out ugly, cramped fruits-but fruits non the less.

I had a couple pf jars that lasted approx 4 months until nearly fully colonized, they wouldnt finish colonizing so i scraped the excess verm, and they fruited invitro, very potent mini fruits, one flush.

Lack of oxygen will make a cake stall that is still in the jar. Take the tape off the tops and you will be surprised how fast they finish up.
