The cottage cheese can help add weight too. If you can eat more fish, salmon is great cuz it's got the omega 3s and high in protein. Don't go overboard with it, and nothing beats whole food protein, so definitely use the shakes as supplements and not a main source.

Eggs, tuna, chicken, and protein shake is what I try to follow daily for my protein intake it just depends though but if your a skinny dude tryin to bulk up you need a lot of protein....even if your trying to cut I think protein is the best source of energy of all of em because it takes more heat from your body to break it down.

Protein and carbs take 4kcal to burn whereas fat is 9 (per gram). Protein however needs to be converted to get sugar, whereas carbs are sugars, so it doesn't store as sugar as readily. Your body can convert fat, carbs, and protein into one another, on a molecular level.
That being said, protein makes you feel full faster, and is better utilized when lifting, though carbs do help hugely in restoring glycogen quickly, and shuttling macronutrients to cells with an insulin spike. That's why post workout carbs should be ingested with your proteins.

I just finished reading the squat, bench, and deadlift sections in starting strength. I'm just coming back from shoulder surgery 5 months ago, and I've been to the gym 4 times so far. Looking forward to getting back into shape!
I used to weight 195-200 lbs, since I hurt my shoulder I've fallen down to 175 - I'm weak as shit. Should be fun! I'm going to get stronger than I've ever been before.

Just had a killer workout after a longish day. Having this pre-workout has made a world of difference in my ability to maintain a workout schedule.
On Wednesday i was doing some overhead presses, managed something like:
135x1 130x1 125x1
and then 3x5 @ 105.
Nothing spectacular, but it was a fairly strong showing for me. I am, without a doubt, getting stronger in my upperbody.
Anyone do these Lying straight leg lifts?
I do a variation to the ones on the website, in the lower position i extend my feet outward so my legs are in a "V" and then back and up.
I 3-5 sets of 10 in my warm up, and they always kill me.

I haven't really been dieting the past few days, and with my glycogen restored I'm at about 181 lbs. That means i have lost 8 pounds of actual fat since i started dieting. Fuck ya! And now to for some more cocaine.
But ya, I'm pretty much at my ideal bodyfat percentage. I'm still going to take it as far as i can though. Keep on lifting dudes.

Thanks guys, that's just stuff from A&P lol and lots of reading. You know the old adage though, those who can, do and those who can't, teach. I've been working in my diet but this morning I went grocery shopping hungry and bought a fuck ton of junk. I got some pre-cooked chicken though from wally world and I figure it's $1 a serving ($2.50 and 2.5 servings) 21g protein, 2g carbs and 110 calories, plus it's already cooked! Not a bad deal after I figure the time and motivation it takes to cook lol. Yesterday and today I started the morning with steak and eggs, a little cheese and some salsa. Really filling and slow digesting so I figure 1 meal at a time is my new goal. Tomorrow I'm gonna grill some chicken wings though and make a sriracha/Mae ploy sauce for them. Not super healthy, but not horrid either. Also I'm still as solid as when I was running that cycle. Running a RC version of letro and it's obviously helping. I know the days I forget to take it cuz I get this weird feeling....I think women call it emotional, either way it's shitty and sad lol. Here in march or so I may start that beastdrol/superdrol compound and see what it does.
Went in for my first mesocycle phase of Smolov and it was harder than I thought. Gotta be at work in the morning and so I skipped my preworkout. As you said PDU, it's almost a night and day difference working out with a pre. I may have strained something in my glute, but a day of stretching before my next workout and I should be golden!
PDU- great job on the OHP weights, it's a daunting task to build that shit up, don't know how champ has gotten up to the weights he's tossing around
iThink- 8# of bf is awesome! It's really motivating me to move towards a more protein heavy diet. Yesterday I was at 50% protein and 25% for both fat and carbs. It's tough as shit to eat just protein, so I'm gonna start using more shakes to boost the intake.

Speaking of diets and my lack of yesterday.....I went to this super ghetto part of town think harlem and grubbed up at the highest rated chicken an waffles joint in the city. I've never heard of the pairing till some black coworkers were talking about it and I must say its the perfect pairing of sweet and savory. And the portions were insane. My dinner came with a fried chicken breast on top of a giant waffle with butter and syrup. Also came with a side of corn bread, mac and cheese, collard greens, spicy red beans and rice AND a Bomby peach cobbler. It was amazing and the only meal I ate yesterday but pretty sure it was around 4,000 calories easily. time to go have a heart attack!

Anyone interested in buying this? It's a really good natty test booster, rated on of the best actually if you look up reviews on it. Not really expectin to sell it but I don't need it right now but I'd rather not throw it out. One day's supply has been used from it though. Originally goes for $73 hoping to get rid of it for $30 if that seems fair. Like I said not expecting anyone to want it but if someone's interested let me know please.

Fk I am hyper sensitive to stimulants or permanently messed myself up. Possibly from the heavy adderall/ritalin abuse throughout my teens? It seems I have always had minor heart palpaltatins that would occour randomly... I can remember back to even 13 or 14 or so, I dont know if the initial ADD meds as a child had anything to do with it? ( I was prescribed ritalin in elementary - middle school/high school). I have never talked to a doctor about it because it didnt seem like THAT big of a deal.
I had to quit taking the EC stack about 2 weeks ago because it was giving me bad heart palpaltations, and mind you I was only taking 1/6 the recommended usual dose! They went away after a couple of days after disuse.. Today I took my first pre workout in months (1 scoop of gaspari superpump 250, a pretty mild PWO) and the very frequent heart palpaltations returned. I don't know if I will be able to mess with any stims/EC/caffiene etc, anymore .. a heart attack just isnt worth it.. anyone have similiar experience?

I will look for my rhythm strip from the doctor's office with my quadgemini. I basically have 4 beats then my heart stops for about a full second (trying to reset itself I guess) then 4 beats then pause. It is the reason I cut back on taking that dark energy. However, through proper hydration and some light cardio it has basically stopped. There's tons of causes, stress and stimulants being the top two, and it's normally benign as long as your heart is fairly healthy. Now if you're a 20 year smoker with high cholesterol and way overweight, it may be bad. I'm not saying you're safe, but when your body tells you something isn't right, it's best to listen to it.
