possible monokaryotic growth

Had some old woodlover prints, so a couple of months ago I busted out the autoclave and made some 6 plates. Only one plate had some germination, and am concerned that it was from only one spore. After a couple of transfers, I now have some grain jars going. The growth is NOT rhizomorphic. I thought it might become so after a few transfers - can't recall where I read that. So a couple of questions...
Is there any way to tell? I don't have a microscope, but do have a 30x loupe. I would be a shame to get a big healthy outdoor patch going, only to have it not able to fruit!
Could I germ some more spores, and then allow this growth to grow into what I've already propagated?
I had lots of success expanding woodlover myc (sterile - agar to grain to woodchips) about 6 years ago when I tried it. Was never sure if my sterile spawn contributed anything, as the outdoor patch was going pretty well with wild myc that I transferred there. Both cyans and cyclones, but the cyclones pretty much took over after a few years. Don't have access to that patch anymore, so am looking to start anew!
Any tips? I have only a small amount of wild myc right now, and am in the process of expanding that. My question is about only the sterile, possibly monokaryotic mycellium question though....

Not all dikaryotic mycelium is rhizomorphic. Monokaryotic mycelium is tangled, looking much like mold, and for lack of a better term, a black person's hair. Dikaryotic mycelium on the other hand is usually linear, whether it's rhizomorphic or not. RR

Some pics. Seems not to be linear.

Suppose it might not be mycellium at all? It seems to smell like it....
