I got these sterilized Jars of Substrate from a Mushroom kit website.

What is this I am growing in? I have no Idea?

All I know is it kicks ass.

I innoculated these 9 days after my first BRF trial in my other thread and they are 95% colonized already. The BRF ones are not even done yet in 1/2 pints Jars.

What is the MEDIUM I am using?

Looks like one of the ingredients in WBS tek I just started at the bottom.

Looks like some type of Birdseed, maybe a Millet/Rye mix or something.

It came with the kit in pre sterilized jars. I order thru Smokface.com but I think I was redirected to http://www.mushbox.com/mushrooms_growing_kit_support.html

They have since stopped selling US Kits and do not appear to sell the medium separate.,

I ordered a few kits to compare methods before trying my own teks.

Too Much, but I gave me some insight on a few things which have been valuable.

This kit included everything I needed for about $100

another was $80

I think you should have shaken the jars to keep the kernels loose it looks like those are regular mouth jars youll have a hell of a time trying to get that out.. good luck
