If its a scar you're worried about it, it's doubtful it'll ever grow hair. Scar tissue doesn't get the blood flow that regular tissue does, and your hair follicles probably don't exist there anymore. It's basically (if I'm not mistaken) blocks the DHT from preventing your hair from maturing. Even bald people have hair, it's just really fine and never gets to mature due to high test conversion. My hair had always been thin, then at 19 it started falling out. I've gone from a forehead to an 8 head, and the bald spot on the back is encroaching on the front. I wish there were something to help it fall out quicker so I can quit shaving lol

Haha yeah shavin my head every 3 days can get annoying. But yeah only a certain area that Im talkin about would be where the scar was, I dont care if it doesnt grow back, scars dont bother me. The rest of that area is just thinnin, not bald there. Tryin to find something that can regrow lost hair though.

Rogaine does help, my buddy has had great results, but I'm not sure about the permanence. I read that they discovered the gene that causes baldness, and are testing how to reverse it.
Tomorrow is the big day! Not sure if I'll have any pics of it cuz I'll have my buddy spotting me, but hopefully I hit it. Gonna spend today stretching and doing lunges to keep my legs loose, as well as take beta alanine to get them clear.

Are you doing the roller stretching on the site for that leg routine? I am getting a pvc like that for stretching. It looks like a messageish kinda deal...

I'm not yet, gonna do it for sure after tomorrow. I've done that rolling and it is painful as fuck but in a really amazing refreshing kinda way. It takes a while, cuz soon as you feel pain you stop there until its gone, the slowly roll forward. Maybe get some pipe insulation and wrap the PVC so it's padded, it won't hurt as bad. My gym has them but they're just foam and they don't hold well under my weight, so I may make one from 4" PVC and foam as well, to use at home.

Well, failure has been achieved. Glad I shot for it, had it the second time, but I'm tryin to go too low. Had a buddy spot me both times, I just went below the point of no return. Heavy ass weight for sure, but I'll have it by march no doubt, probably even valentines day.

Nice progress rumble
Man I hit chest yesterday and instead of trying to work up to as much weight as possible I kept it pretty reasonable, and instead tried really hard to keep the movements controlled and focused. But fuck I'm way more sore than usual. I think I'll alternate now between going heavy as possible and controlled more deliberate sets.

The big thing for protein consumption is the amino acids you need to rebuild and repair. If you do chest only, your body will break down other muscle tissue for the protein needed and move it there. Having a surplus could be hard to achieve (unless dieting specifically for it) in a normal diet. If you do take in too much your body uses it elsewhere, but in a rigorous workout, the aminos are mainly what's used. I've read that when your body catabolizes tissue it converts most to leucine, that's why so many swear leucine is so great.

I try to aim for 1g/lb...a nice round number which isn't too hard to hit. I'm 175 and a half gallon of milk plus 3 scoops of protein (which I pretty much drink daily) is about 140.
I agree with the ridiculousness of the higher-end protein intake recommendations...there is definitely an agenda.
I'm just getting back into lifting again (I cycle between lifting/rock climbing) and am doing Rippetoe's SS for 4 more weeks or so and then going back to my normal upper/lower split. I'm 6'2 175 11% bf and trying to bulk to 205ish before I cut. Muscle memory is great. I've gained about 8 lbs in 5 weeks there is increased glycogen and water storage for sure but definitely 2 lbs of muscle at least with a loss of about 1% in bf.

I'm pretty sure that there is no way you gained two lbs of muscle in 5 weeks without steroids.

How are you arriving at these measurements? I highly doubt you lost over 20 lbs of muscle in 6 months.

Like I said I switch between rock climbing and lifting quite frequently (maybe every 6 months). 20 lbs to a person fully creatine/glycogen loaded isn't really that much considering I stopped taking creatine and working to shed off 12 lbs during those 6 months for climbing trips to Cooper's Rock.
You are making it sound so much more unrealistic than it actually is.

And again, how do you arrive at your bodyfat measurements? All I have done is refer to what you have told me, not sure how i can misrepresent that. You also claimed to be high on your glycogen stores atm, so assuming that is true, your weight 6 months ago would consist of over 20 lbs of pure muscle.
