8 day 2nd flush no pins

I have pe and creepers in a martha style closet. They were transfered from mono tubs after 1st flush. It has been 8 days with no pins yet. So I am wondering if something is wrong. It only took 7 days to pin for 1st flush. Here is my set up...
1. martha style closet 2. humidity controler that keeps RH between 90% and 97% when fans come on humidity drops to 70% 3. 2 computer fans that come on 5 time in a 24 hour period for 15 mins each time 4. 2 coolmist humidifiers
Here are pics of my cakes and set up...

1st pic showes 1 of the fans in the top left the other is in the back on the right.
2nd pic just showes closet straight on.
3rd pic showes humidity controller at 97% where it stays most of the time.
4th pic is pe
5th is creepers

I forgot to mention I mist 3 times a day. But the sub looks dry when I mist. So I think I am getting plenty of FAE. I will start misting 5 times a day and see what happens.

I don't know then. Maybe they're spent. Those subs don't look very thick. I've gotten only 1 flush before after spreading the substrate out into a thin layer. Or maybe bacteria has taken over You should see something soon if it's going to put out anything else.

Kizzle thanks for the help you seem like the only one willing to offer up any help on this matter and it is greatly appreciated!! The sub for the pe is at 2 3/4" and the creeper is at 3" I think this should be more than enough to get a 2nd flush. And I dont see any contams. I am just worried that there is something wrong with the martha environment. I have 3 trays of pe and 3 trays of creepers that will be ready to be birthed in about 5 days. I am going to give them a few more days. Then when I birth the new trays I put them back into the mono tubs just in case there are contames on the old cakes and see where it goes from there.

Habadashery Thanks for the comment in total it cost me about $120 to set up like this but it will be well worth it if all works out well. The most expensive part was the humidity controller which was $50 and is extremely accurate. So far anyway. I did the salt test and it came up to be 76% RH which I am very pleased with.

I waited until last night to dunk my cakes after first flush, left them submerged overnight. I suspect it will take a few days for the mycelium to recover, plus I need to get a light, as ambient room light is not cutting it.
Message to you and to myself: be patient.

You'll want to wrap the humidity probe in some thin cloth. This will help keep condensation from building up directly on the probe, and keep spores out of it. It will slow it's response some, but it should be okay if you've got good internal air circulation.
I run a single small fan in my martha that is on constantly for air circulation. The only source of FAE is from the cool-mist pipped in from the outside. You might be running it a little to dry with all that air?

Thanks for the input I was thinking the same thing with the fan. I am going to cut back to one fan coming on at 12 am and 12 pm and see how that works out. what can I say I'm still figuring out this martha closet.

Maybe just have the fans blow for shorter periods of time. It could be that they are turning on, quickly lowering the humidity and then drying them out. Then they shut of and the humidity comes back up but the moisture the fans evaporated from the substrate wouldn't return just by being in a humid environment, it's only being returned when you mist and dunk.
Come to think of it you shouldn't need the fans in the first place with humidifiers. Were you losing too much humidity having them pull in air from the outside?

Ill just hook up a light dimmer to the fan, if i am not getting enough FAE, so i can adjust the speed of the fan.

Just to clarify about the dimmer on the fans. I have taken out the fans so if im not getting enough FAE. I will hook up a dimmer and put the fans back in so i can adjust the speed of the fans.

You seem to have all your ducks in a row. Good job. I have used a similar setup, and can agree that the fans aren't necessary. Also, humidity can drop below the optimal range and still produce prolific pin sets. For that size, one cool mist and one ultrasonic is more than enough. Patience here is key. Can take up to two weeks to pin on second flush, especially if first was heavy. Great work so far!
