All casing Teks will have higher yields than fruiting cakes in a chamber if done correctly. However, there is more room for error and becoming comfortable with easier teks before moving on is definetely recommended, though not written in stone. If you think you've done your homework well enough to skip a step, try your luck, but if you fuck up, go back a give cakes a shot.

Yeah. I am going to go to strait casing without doing cakes. I think that the relative risk involved compared with the increased yield and general health of your mushrooms is well worth it. Go for Coir/Verm, in my stuides i haven't found anything as widely reputable. I play guitar alot too guitarnut =). U like dimebag?
