If you have used three different syringes in the same jars maybe it is time to consider that the jars are the problem and not the syringes.

i kept a couple of jars un-innoculated in my closet for about 3 months w/o contams. they were a test to see if my sterilization technique worked, but i forgot about them after a couple weeks checking.

if you're not getting any growth after injecting, maybe your substrate is off or something got in there that hinders the growth. i'd say pull a redo

Definetly kick those jars man. You should probably say that if using a syringe doesn't work, then there's something wrong with your substrate. I use jars that are usually a few weeks old, but never older than that. They could last for a long time theoretically, if your sterilization was good enough. Maybe a year or more, but your lid would have to be on really really tight so there was no water loss.
