Looking for a book about acient Egyptions

Hey guys,

I was just watching "The Mummy" and get the sudden urge to learn more about acient Egyption life, advances, technologies, philosophy, astrology, arts and enigma's.

All long as its a interesting book with real facts i wouldn't really mind whats it's really based on.

I too am looking for books about ancient eygptian mythology. Characters such as osiris, horus, jesus, would be of more interest!

i was at borders bookstore today and saw a book in the clearance section about mythology. it was only like 10 bucks and had detailes from every religion imaginable. i thought it would only be about greek and roman type stuff but half the book was about asian mythology. had stuff from native american and im sure something about egypt also. im gonna go back soon to get it.

I have the Egyptian Book of Magick..intense to say the least
Egyptian book of the Dead is also highly recommended by this party
