Does mushroom tolerance correspond with amount consumed?

If I took 1g on Friday and tried to take on 4g's Monday, would there be any difference in tolerance if I had taken 2g's or 3g's on Friday?
After consuming a dose of 1.5g, would a dose of 4g's a few days later be profoundly stronger? Should a long period of time still follow any dose of mushrooms that have psychoactive effects?

This is completely useless information. Everybody has to wait a different amount of time for tolerance to dissipate. I prefer 1 month.

I find that for shrooms, noticable tolerance really only lasts a few days to a week, but everyone may be different.
To answer your question- taking a higher dose will result in increased tolerance over that period. If you took a 4g dose you would need a lot more the next day than if you had a 1g dose.
If you plan to be dosing within 1-3 days of each other, chances are you will need about twice as much material, which is why it's better to wait about a week.
E: Anyways, you seem convinced that a month is needed for you personally to eliminate tolerance, so haven't you just answered your own question? You will need more mush for a similar effect.

Yes IME tolerance does correspond with the amount consumed...
I've found if say I took 1.5gs each week for three to four weeks in a row and then the following week took like 4gs that I would trip pretty hard still. But say if I take 3.5gs two weeks in a row, I find the following week anything other/less than dosing around 10-12gs in a tea would would be pretty lackluster and seemingly mundane.
Tolerance will start to play a role throughout any frequent use though. I like at least a month guideline like you also, while stretching it out several months or more after the strong ones. IMO Learning to switch up methods of ingestion can help curve tolerance "somewhat" also, i.e. - eating them dried, next time a tea, then fresh w/ fruit smoothie, lemon tek, encapsulated, they all have slightly different feels to each way..

indeed you are correct but the half life of psilocybin isnt very long it would be gone even if one has an extremely low metabolism it would dissipate within at most 12 to 15 days at most and excreted by urine but for me i wait atleast 7 days.
