DRYING MUSHROOMS IN HONEY ?

YO im now wondering how to dry my shrooms and I remember a friend who stores his hunted PSILOCYBE SEMILANCEATA in honey. Has someone tried that ? Any information ? Should I dry them and then put them in the honey ? PEACE

thanks man ! I live in Bulgaria :smile: and I dont have a fan lol can you tell me an easy way to make shrooms cracker dry ? Can I take a thread and put all the shrooms on this thread and leave it in a bright ( no direct sunlight ) room with good air exchange ? Or some other way ?peace

I'd say even without a fan use a dessicant chamber... but i wouldnt know where to get that in Bulgaria! hehe just a suggestion. Definetely need to have the shrooms cracker dry before adding to honey though, any water in the shrooms will cause the honey to ferment and rot becoming inedible. (this seems a common mistake ive seen with honey storage.)

Ive heard of hanging strings from the roof and clipping mushrooms with clothes pins to the string, and leaving it in a contained kitchen with the oven on....that was for aminita's though. You can dry small amounts in the back of your computer tower...Or with a low wattage light..
