Depends on temp. My buddy uses a simple incubator and has full colonization of WBS in 12-15 days.

80 is fine.

germination can take between 2-14 days
regardless of substrate.

My friend just inoculated some wbs jars 6 days ago. They have been kept at 80 degree temps and 4 out of the five jars show signs of colonization, but only on a few grains and the spots are quite small. My friend hopes that the speed of colonization will increase exponetially now that there is some myc showing. The strain is tasmanian.

It is practically done once it is 50% colonized. When you shake it you jsut have to wait a few days until it is finished.
