Shortly a friend of mine is posting pics of a subaeruginosa variant from far-northern NSW that is again quite different to anything else that ive seen from Subaeruginosa.
Nice find and enjoy them mate.
Pls take the time to examine the Eucalypta ive posted as im keen for feedback on their appearance.

ganesh,

thanks, hehe i will enjoy!

how fricken potent are they?!? i was .... almost unpleasantly surprised..

chomped down 4 the other night (cap size from 1cm diameter to 3cm diameter) and almost lost complete touch with reality... i couldnt understand anything and could hardly make any sense stringing words together. it was actually quite frustrating! incredible visuals as well.

i enjoyed the deep and philosophical conversation i had with a friend once i came down a little and was about to talk moreso than the intense peak

and yes they seem to be alot lighter in colour and different in shape to the p. sub's that most other people are posting photos of

I know what you mean... with my first find of the season I got home one night and thought to myself - 'ok i'll just have 5 normal sized buggers just to test them out'
They are so damn potent - thought my bed was floating for a few hours - had a great time though! I can never string together enough coherent words when I am on mushrooms to have any sort of conversation unfortunately.... I usually start laughing whenever i have to use my memory (weird i know)....
I was wondering what dosages other people have - since i don't have any scales it is all guesswork for me which i know is bad but I dont have any other option really... how many do most people have here when they trip on subs?

Lovely.
If all goes well, I will be searching for the same kind of beauties tomorrow.

EDIT : Last year I came across some from a friend of a friend, and they were pretty fucking potent. The first lot had about 10 or 12 caps, and after drying they looked pretty tiny, and I assumed I would need to eat quite a bit, so ingest about 10 of them. I ended up being sick later, and up to the point, the trip was insanely hard. After puking, things mellowed down (some shrooms came back up, so I guess that's why), but the visuals were still pretty strong.

First subs of the season will send you to jupiter - complete with the highly pressurised atmosphere where all your friends will be blue and have 'stolen your soul.'

Great p. subaeruginosa, they look a bit dried out by the sun but otherwise just like the ones we find in Melbourne.

jimbu, ganesh......

hahahahaha, doses of 4 and 5 are what I consider a week doses of p. subaeruginosa (we have 6 when we don't want to trip too hard). Me and my friends usually have between 8 and 15 (15 blows your mind away and you end up speaking jiberish all night =D)

And SOOOOO true bluemeanie, first subs of the season blow you away =D

Its true that sometimes you can need up to 14 or so for a strong experience, but i still remember my friend consumming only one specimen and having a profound life-changing experience - so beware they can vary significantly

whoah.... so.... i had a strong trip on 4 smallish ones... yet sometimes you need 14?

could every mushroom vary that much in potency??

can anyone give me a rough guide to dosages on subaeruginosa?
perhaps in the number of small or large shrooms required to be eaten for a certain level trip, ala cubensis X gram trip's?

Indeed, very potent. I just wrote up in my post about the shrooms I found today. I ate half (4 shrooms) and it was VERY potent. Was expecting a rather mild buzz, but actually got a solid Level 2 trip, with strong body buzz, minor visuals. Quite overwhelming. Nausea is a bitch though.
I can imagine 14 of those would absolutely blow my mind.

ok, this is a spinout!

last night (4 x 24hours after my previous trip) i decided to eat some to test out potency again. i ate 3 to begin with, then after an hour or so i was mildly tripping, so i ate another. then over the next half hour i ate a couple more because i didn't feel i was tripping very hard (was getting minor visuals). i've read that eating more once u're already tripping doesnt have much effect.. i ate about 6 in total...

i'm trying to understand how i could trip 10 times harder off 4 shrooms on monday night (where my friend ate more but only tripped mildly), yet trip mildly off more shrooms last night! is it possible i ate an extremely ultra potent mushroom on monday night?

i'm not quite sure how to dose myself anymore! :\

me neither jimbu - at the moment its all a guessing game.... had 5-6 average sized ones a couple of weeks ago and wasn't too bad at all - was still driving my car so I couldnt be that bad.

Maybe the 5 that wasted me a while ago were because they were the first of the season... I think BM is right there. They were mean! I've never seen any go that blue before either.....

Next time I'll go an even 10... I'd love to know more of what other people are dosing of these little buggers...

Yeah definately the first subs of the season or always the ones that are dangerous. And they vary wildly in potency. Nearly everyone i know who has eaten subaeruginosa always say the same thing. One moment your fine, and then you eat just one more and its off to Jupiter...

doh.... i better watch myself.... my recent hunts consisted of a LOT of 'first subs of the season'!

hehehe such a spinout though! to eat 4 small mushrooms in order to 'test potency' and be stuck in another strange unexpected world for hours!

I think after you eat once in a season all the following trips need higher dosing or dont quiet get you there.
I had 17 P.subs from WA and Jeezus *** long story.
