as per title
got curious about this since there is nothing much on here other than a 7 years old thread which didn't quite make it or a red curry recipe.
is there anything new stirring in your pots or are you just frying them?

If you brown it in drawn butter...it mimics toasted coconut pretty well.
It has a mild shrimp/crab flavor.
Sauteed in whole butter with a little salt and pepper and then added to alfredo sauce makes a nice "mock" seafood pasta.

I think it does have a crablike texture but the times I've eaten it didn't really have much flavor. Oh, they were all wild specimens from the midwest. I recommend them in some sort of mushroom medley.

I personally think lions mane is amazing in soups/stews. It is so meaty and delicious!

I fried them in butter, and then dipped them in butter ALA lobster. They were pretty good. My g/f said,"like lobster, but not as good"

I've also been scouring for recipes. I haven't tried these, but they look good. The first one looks fairly simple the second a little entailed.
The recipe is at the end of the article. http://www.mushroom-appreciation.com/lions-mane.html

you can also deep fry them, and then splash with malt vinegar. and/or batter them like fish. I think they are most fun in sauces/soups tho cause all the spikes fall apart and it adds an awesome effect.

I just tried Lion's mane for the first time. Here is how I made it: 8 oz Lion's Mane, thickly sliced 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 tablespoons tamari 1 teaspoon minced garlic pinch of salt fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Fried in a pan until golden. Very tasty!
