You sir, I like
And Skinny Puppy, I love...

But now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever had a chance to listen to any of it while I was tripping.

I love Skinny Puppy. Sorry to say it, but I'm more of a fan of his "newer" evolved sound...like the album The Process. I still like the older stuff too. Anybody happen to hear his new stuff under that different alias? What was it again, iGor, or something?

Skinny Puppy while tripping? You've got to be kidding me. That has bad trip written all over it.

"Rabies" was my favorite though.

I suppose you could have a bad trip from skinny puppy but it depends on the kind of person you are. Personally I would have a field day with it. It takes a certain kind of person to listen to s.p., or darker music in general...
I find myself to be that kind of person. My first acid trip was to NIN's Fixed.

iGor? Close :P

It's OHGR (sorry for caps, i'm not sure how they usually write it...maybe oHgR)

I like a lot of the ohgr stuff, has a cool sound to it. A lot of the songs are really catchy too. Not the best type of songs if your looking for something that'll be fun to listen to after a month though :P

thank you kindly  mucho respect for SP fans... especially when they're enlightened by the sacred fungus

if somebody would have told me to listen to SP tripping before i'd think they were nuts but it was the most amazing sounding music i'd ever heard... I was listening to Second Tooth and i felt like I was completely distant from my body. (it was never one of my favorite songs until then)

i can see how you'd think Skinny Puppy = bad trip but it really depends... Another time I was on acid i was listening to "High Falls" by the Allman Brothers, staring at the huge trees outside my window... they were rather happy

I have never had a bad trip triggered by music that I didn't enjoy(maybe scared shitless while it was happenning, but afterwards I was happy about it)
Skinny puppy is pretty good, never heard it tripping. A good band tripping is Acid Bath, maybe their mellow songs for you sissies . such as Scream of the butterfly, Bones of babydolls, dead girl, and new death sensation. Dr. Kevorkian played violin on new death sensation. VERY good tripping songs, I'll try skinny puppy next!

SP is pretty amazing and strange. I also got more into tHE pROCESS than any other album. Too Dark Park and last Rights sometimes grab me and other times it just washes over me. Rabies is just funny. Fascist Jock Itch and shit.
I like downLoad more myself. Effector i wqould highly reccomend as a tripping album. Also Eyes of Stanley Pain. Furnace is completely insane. Multiple listens may yield nothing but confusion and short term memory loss.
Music for Cats is good stuff too, trip worthy for sure. Cevin keys has some other stuff out too like Ghost of each Room and tHe Dragon Experience, which is basically lost SP era material.
Have you heard the new Puppy? I heard one of the tracks "optimissed" and it didn't do anything for me.
OhGR is good shit too, either album

I never got into the Process, but I haven't really given it a fair shot. I didn't care for Optimissed either, but the Dragon Experience and Back & Forth 6 kick ass! Destructor Beam is cEvin Key at his finest
