First workout in a week where I have gotten serious and done an amount of lifting I felt good about.
Hammer Strength row machine: 200lb 7/6/6/5 Cable chest flys: 120lb 8/8/7/6 Military press: 65 lb dumbbells 6/6/5/4 Pullups: +45 on a weightbelt 5/5/4/4 Tricep pulldowns: Not really sure about the weight 8/7/7/6 DB Shrugs: 105lb bells 8/8/8/7 Hammer curls: 50lb bells 7/6/5/5 Crunches on a bench where I hold a 45 plate in my hands a med ball between my legs an extend all the way 6 minutes of buildup cardio that got pretty intense
ketotonic diet
Lets go.

Squat: 225x8 315x8 385x3 225x7x2
OHP: 135x8 185x2 135x8
Dead lift: Sumo: 225x10 Stiff: 225x8
Dumbbell press: 70x12
Have had massive amounts of PIP in my left glute, along with bruising, kinda abscess-ish, but it's going away. My muscle however is severely hurting, and has even rotated my leg to where I'm using different muscles and stressing different areas. I can't even lean back to bench cuz the pain hurts so bad. It's about the size of a baseball, and throbs Been soaking in Epsom salts, hopefully the pain will be gone in a couple days when I've got a spotter and I can push 5 plates squatting. These shoes have definitely put my balance in check, causing a stumble backwards due to my lean lol. They're amazing, and beat my gym shoes by a long shot!

Glad you like the shoes man. I love the feeling of my toes as talons gripping the floor when I d/l. I really don't feel like working out today. I have been eating junk junk junk for the past few days. Lots of popcorn... It's my weakness. Crunchy, salty, buttery, goodness. It's doing a number on my gut though. Hopefully I make it to they gym today...

lmao... been a while since you popped in this thread... you still lifting?
Dude I have not been lifting.. although that isn't an excuse I'm dealing with reality that:
the next six weeks are going to be spent in antarctica, whilst down there my body is going to be burning through kilojoules like a motherfucker trying to keep me warm, and I'm expecting to lose a shitload of weight... my best bet whilst I'm down there is to just try and maybe lean up, I'm not sure what the gym situation is going to be like on board this ship I'll be working on but I'm guessing at best I might have some dumbbells (barbells are banned on ships for safety reasons)
I've had friends that have worked down there and have come back an absolute shadow of their former selves, to be honest I'm kind of looking forward to it as I'm getting really sick of this extra fat... this is a good auto-push to get me towards it... maybe when I get back I can stick to a more sensible routine of overall fitness as opposed to just bulk strength?? I dunno what my body wants to be..
but great to see you guys all lifting and hitting goals... great to see this thread has stayed alive.
on intermittent fasting... I can't speak for it but my brother has been on it, here's the result:

he's still hitting 260+kg/573lbs deadlifts whilst keeping super low BF, and still gaining strength.. and eating whatever he wants (whilst keeping up calories/protein etc)
he's tried just about every diet/regime under the sun and this one seems to be the easiest and most successful by far
but in terms of myself, I am utter atm... lack of structure and stability in my personal life makes it tough, I was going ok before the xmas season and was stoked to hit some goals but man so much travelling and working away at sea makes it really difficult to maintain a really solid routine. No excuse, I know... but it is tricky.

Damn what kinda diet is your bro on?? I have been hitting the weights hard and diet as well trying to lower my body fat so I can do a clean bulk soon. I have been trying hard to lose fat while keeping my muscle. I don't really do legs that much cause of my knees but how important is this in a routine?? Also I hurt my back doing rows so now I'm not even 100%

The big trick when doing legs and back is light weights until your body tells you it's ready, I almost slapped a kid last night squatting. Worst form ever, he curled his back and he pushed up, then snapped it back at the top....clay shoveler fracture waiting to happen.

yeah I agree proper form is crucial....I have been lifting serious for about a year now this is the first time I hurt myself...it sucks cause you use your back for a lot of different lifts...its not debilitating bad but shit I'm gonna lay off back for awhile.

I have bad knees too, and i can do light (compared to how i normally lift) squats where i keep all the strain in my ass and quads/hams. I basically stick my ass out and my legs don't move from the knee down.

I'm doing something similar to the warrior diet, which is very similar to IMF
all I eat during the day is raw broccoli, green beans, apples, oranges and nuts when my job gets really physical... after I've been awake roughly 10-12 hours, I basically eat 3 solid meals worth of food in a 4 hour time slot.
I've been doing this for about 6 months now, along with the EC stack/creatine and the results have been epic... fuck the 6 small meal a day routine, wasn't practical for me at all, and i always felt sluggish.
I'm just under 200 pounds right now, and lean as fuck... don't know my BF% but I can see most of my 6 pack and have been able to for around 4 months now, my strength has also been raising steadily... I've hit a bit of a plateau, but I'm gonna change up my routine quite a bit come january 2nd and up my food intake at night.
the first week in, I was starting to think I wasn't gonna be able to stick with it for long, but once that first week was done I felt great and was waaay noticeably leaner, also noticed I had a lot more energy at work.
I've also become much more 'regular' if you know what I mean

I got my body fat back in check. Few days on ketotonic caloric deficit and an amphetamine binge throughout a night of dancing seems to have done the trick. I got a little dehydrated too this morning and drank some black coffee for the diuretic effect. I was noticeably more cut/dry. It was actually basically what I'm shooting for in terms of appearance. Just need to take it a little further so I can maintain more easily.

My best advice would be to just do as much as you comfortably can with your back until it's at its best again so you can at least do what you can to hold onto the progress you've made with it so far. I don't think there's really much you can do with injuries besides takin it easy. They can be expensive, but muscle stimulators help a lot with injured muscles and tendons, in my experience at least. I use them after every workout to hasten recovery also.

yeah I will take it easy on back....it sucks my progress is halted but ah well my back was getting pretty beast just doing isolation lifts...I can still do upper back just not lower where it hurts...I'm a trooper though I will workout regardless I just hope I dont hurt myself even more doing other workouts around it.
