i've been on vacation and i've been fucking up my diet. I eat whatever the fuck I want and drink so much god damn alcohol. I still look pretty damn lean though, and this fuck up will give me the motivation to go hard as fuck when i'm back home. As soon as I get back, I'm going so fucking hard with my diet. I am making a promise to myself to lose ten pounds of fat in two weeks.

So my super awesome girlfriend bought me a pair of Adipure Trainers for Christmas!!! Kinda unsure about the feeling cuz its so different, but talk about comfortable! She researched reviews and everything, saying they're not good for running, but great for lifting. Just wearing them I feel like my posture is better. My weight is more forward than on my heels, and doing just bodyweight squats it feels much better mechanics wise. Some arch support, but not pressure, almost like there's a pillow there. Can't wait to hit the gym!

I've heard great things, but there's a definite adjustment period. Gonna wear them at the gym only for now, it's been in the 10-20s this week, 30-40 for a high, so walking around in that kinda cold doesn't seem fun lol. I've got some Etnies that are super flat, and I noticed when jogging I'm landing on the balls of my feet, it felt good.
Champ, congrats on the 530! Gonna strap up and try for 4 Monday, as well as a 450+ squat and 350+ bench.

pretty good actually, gonna start up a new routine using it this new year...
and I think I'll probably look at buying my lady the 'new rules of lifting for women' I've read nothing but good things about it.

Getting back on schedule. I went five days with no lifting! I was also drinking a lot and eating fatty and carb rich foods. However yesterday, I got back into my ketotonic diet and got a good lift/cardio sesh in. This time I'm really going to stick with it and reach my ideal goals.

Good job on that bench buddy! The bending bar is always a great ego stroke IMO. I love when I'm squatting heavy and when I come up the bar bounces on the ends lol. Will update tomorrow, after today's meal I should have the energy lol. Happy holidays powerlifters!

To be completely honest my birthday then xmas then new years all within 10 days really killed my diet. I'm planning on hitting the gym hopefully 3 times this week but once new years is over ill be back on track. Anyone get anything cool for xmas? I got some books (the death machine and john dies at the end.) Couple video games (Katherine and king of fighters 13.) Some shirts from threadless some money new shoes and tons of holiday sex.

Cheers mate! Do you squat in front of a mirror? I squatted 230 last xmas, and apparently the bar wiggled about in a very disturbing manner according to my bro who was spotting me. ater a bit more "xmas cheer" and food we went back out to the garage so he could take a photo of the bending bar. tbh, it was a massive effort just to get it off the pins, never mind walk it out, and the fact I'd squatted it a couple of hours ago was like some sort of opium dream. anyhoo, he took a pic
tbh, that's not bad for a $30 bar, I've destroyed "better" bars with less weight.
good luck in your upcoming attempts. vids wouldn't go amiss, nomsaying?

I'll probably have my buddy video it, or set up my phone to get it. My gym does have a mirror, so I don't always look up when I need to, sometimes I'm checking my form when I shouldn't. I'm psyched for it for sure! Worst case I'll have my buddy who works at the gym give me assistance, but I really do wanna get it recorded to check my form more than anything.
