World changing or me?
    #1557177 - 05/18/03 01:51 AM (14 years, 6 months ago)

Im a bit confused. I have eaten mdma four times now. . . I have felt really good, but dont want to try it again. I felt like I have experienced bliss, and a representation of my true self. I felt like I could say anything I was thinking, and no one would judge me for it, they would simply take it into them(they also rolling.) This was not ego loss or anything, but it felt like I had no reason whatsoever to worry about the ego. I wasnt in super paradise land, I wasnt in a crazy trance, it was simple life working.

Now that I havent touched it, when i am just hanging out with some friends, especially when I am thinking/meditating, I am filled with a sense just like it, it is good. It has only been recently when I have felt this, along with some deep meditation prior and learning some new ideas I would have never thought. At this same time, I am becoming aware of people changing into spiritual beings, and society as a whole coming to thier senses. Things seem to be getting better/worse in the world IMO. Right now in my head, im thinking that there will be a big chaneg where people wake up and relize the truth, and a movement against them(the govt?) and the world will change pretty dramatically in the next while.

Maybe its just an idea of all thoughts ive had, but atleast to me, things are getting better on a spiritual level, and I can honestly say that when I look at some people not only can I see it in their face, but I can feel it in my soul. Im ready to visit heaven, I hope everyone else is too.

Dont do drugs.

"im thinking that there will be a big chaneg where people wake up and relize the truth"

I feel it too, but while some are ready for change, the world isn't ready for it. All we need is time.

And there's nothing left but time.

Be patient.

The expectation that "something" is coming that will be revealed to all, allowing us understanding seems no different to me than any other religion on earth. And just as likely.

The world is always changing. Social revolutions are probably as old as humanity itself. I think everyone sees the evolving nature of our society. I think that the fact that we are in the midst of the information age, and ideas are so readily available, might give rise to this feeling. We are more connected as a society now, and with the real threat we face from enemies who would like nothing better than for us to die, also causes empathy, and a desire to bettter understand our world.

The world WILL change in the future. I don't know how or when, but it's only a matter of time. I don't see how this is at all related to religion.

Exactly my point.

I think that in part your perception of the world has been altered by your experiences, you may be noticing potential that has always existed. Perhaps this potential will be realized and perhaps it won't. Perhaps we'll relearn how to respect, cherish and love our Mother Earth and perhaps we'll destroy ourselves. The future is undetermined which means it's up to every single human being to do whatever they can to bring peace, love and beauty into the world around them. If millions do little things big things will happen. Big things have happened and there is the potential for that to continue. We must always begin by changing ourselves.

Now to expand, I don't believe in some happy Utopian dream in which humanity will suddenly clue in and everyone will be lovey dovey and kind at all times, I don't expect or even desire humanity to be better than its ever been but I do realize that there have been human cultures that have found equilibrium with the Earth and offered Her the respect she is owed. This is what I am working towards as an individual. Find my own harmony with the Mother and perhaps show others how to do the same.

Social revolution..

note how the term is revolution.. There's no end point, just a big repeating wheel. It drives over some new territory but it just keeps rotating, and as long as it keeps rotating it's going to continue onto different roads forever.

The world is changing and the future is now past. As I later said and you agreed with, the world is always changing. But to predict that some global event is coming that the world isn't ready for would imply something really big. Now while we can observe that, yes society is changing, but you can't possibly know if this big event will ever come or if it is even real. How is that any different that the preacher down the street telling me that God is coming? He's not sure how or when, but he will be here.

I'm not implying that something 'BIG' will happen. It might not at all. But something will happen that changes the world- change is inevitable. That's what I'm saying.
