O.K.
Hypothetical question....
What if this guy had some mycobags and a styrofoam cooler, what could be used as heat source to keep temps constant 84-86f?  Keep in mind a nite-lite means he would have to cover bags w/ something that the heat would still  be able to penetrate.

some people keep an aquarium heater inside of a glass full of water, and then adjust the temperature to keep the cooler set at 80.

Remember, the substrate will rise in temperature on its own. If you set the air temp to 80 the substrate will be right around ideal.

Good luck.

When I first started I used to keep my incubator cooler on top of my water heater. With a little work in positioning I was able to keep it at a constant 85 degrees.

afoaf has a heating pad from wal-mart that is on the top shelf of his closet, and it keeps that whole top part at a constant 82-83 F

styrofoam coolers retain heat very well. if you can't get an aquarium heater, a jar of very hot water will do a good job, replaced a few times every day. pain in the ass, though.

or think of warm places around the house to store it - on top of / behind the fridge or telly? under a waterbed?

good luck!
