Liquid Mycelium into cow patties...

Ok, well i've had an idea for quite some time for an outdoors project. What i want to do is to take a few jars of liquid mycelium and inject this into cow patties. If you injected into a ton of places it would take off like wildfire i'm assuming. It seems that it would work, i may sound lazy but this just seems to simple to pass up.What i'm really wanting is any experience or advice anyone could give.

I was thinking of doing the same thing..... My parents have 2 horses and a cow that shit all over the place.. But what i was thinking about doing is taking some sporeprints and dumping them into a weed sprayer with some water and letting the spores rehydrate overnight. The next day, but that bad boy into action.. Walk around the yard, spraying the solution on all the dookie i see.. Hopefully i might have shrooms. It would sure be a waste of sporeprints if it didnt work. Liquid mycellium would probably be a better idea.. Would i want to spray the dry dookie or the fresh nasty stinky shit>?

Spores would probably be a waste, but liquid mycelium just might work. I've never heard of anybod trying this with liquid mycelium. You might as well give it a shot.

Actually it has been done before with success. Fruit were blended up in a blender with just distilled water and put into a 2-liter coke bottle. This was taken into a field and sprinkled on cakes in shaded or tall grass. Results were what you would expect, a good many mushrooms of that species could be found there in the following months.

Last season all the specimens i collected i printed onto a clean table then scraped them up and put them into a spray bottle, it didn't work none of them germinated on the same manure from the field. it seemed feasible but didn't work. anyways the guy down the street went ahead with the project as follows. a stalled jar of GT was scooped into water (just the colonized parts) then shaken vigorously. then with a syringe he injected each cow pattie like ten times all over,(one jar of mycelium made a shitload of water)then a bed was made consisting of a bottom layer of wheat straw then crushed manure then the whole patties then a light layer of wheat straw on top to keep humidity up. After two days there is healthy signs of growth. more reports later. Next project will be to try an outdoor cloning. as the person above says just take a nice specimen probably just take the stem and blend it up, then inject away. that would be simply amazing.

well as i'm checking all my past posts i remembered this experiment, and yes it did prove to work, not very efficiently due to about 2,000 slugs and other buggys. the strain was not local, the environment was absolutely horrible but yes in a better more controlled situation this would work rather well i'd bet. nature is the best
