Spraying cake with water?
    #1555943 - 05/17/03 11:36 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

I accidently had water drop on one of my cakes. The next day the cake just boomed with little shroomies. Then I though "hmmm....if they liked that, what would happen if I misted them all with water?" Therefore I did and they all started growing more. Is there any disadvantage to this. Should I maybe shoot water into the cakes w/ a syringe instead. I always thought to keep water away from the cakes but they proved me wrong. Peace Rudiger420

Contams seem to be more present when water is directly on your cakes

You can use a fine mist sprayer and lightly mist your cakes.

You can inject sterile water into your cakes with a syringe.
I have been doing this for almost 2 years with great results.

You could also dunk your cakes.
