People freaking out over "girl" Legos

I just read a story about people furiously Twittering about the "new" girl's line of Legos. Um, these were out last Christmas. And big deal? OMG, a line of Legos that some girls might like to play with instead of the regular Legos. Let's get real. Women are still paid less on the whole and Barbies are still sold, and what's up with almost all girl's toys with giant eyed people/animals with makeup plastered over them - yet - people are upset because they think making feminine Lego is offensive. Let's freak out! I just want to hide under a rock sometimes.

If I had had both choices when I was a kid I'd have played with both, if there was one interesting enough to me that was feminine.
