a little drawing from today at work
    #1552441 - 05/15/03 07:40 PM (20 years, 10 months ago)

i admit i stole the idea, but i drew this from the information in my head mixed with the influence of the original peice, i guess you could say i wa inspired by another drawing. i assure you tho, mone really looks NOTHING at all anything like the original, it just has a tripple face between 2 skulls with fetuses somewhat like the original. evrything else is different

That actually looks like a visual display I saw at a TOOL concert. Is that by chance where you were influenced?

i like to think mine has more braintwist appeal.
ive been told thatv my art isnt something you look at so much as sit down and watch.
to be honest with you all i cant stand to look at my own drawings while tripping because i start to get the feeling that im breaking some sorta rule by bringing back evidance of the existance of a scource, that someone may recognize and become empowered from a will to self-satiate to acheive a malevolent devine (aka, anything but what already is)
i get this feeling because i can clearly see the paths through the markings i make beyond the page, beyond the concept of pages, behind vision. like a visual short circut.
a face, perhaps mearly a mask on our reflection,
i dont know what alex grey intended to portray,
but this is what i am showing, basically all the stuff i just said, think about it.

Keep it up, then. Empower others, it's up to them what they decide to do with it. I try and do the exact same thing through music... want to contribute some of your art for album art?
