bread bag fruiting tek /wpics

not really a tek just thought i would share if anyone finds it useful i have used the gallon sandwich bags for growing out the spawn with some bulk manure. so i thought i might share my short and sweet version i used 1 quart of spawn per 4 bags and 1 quart of pasturised bulk substrate per bag with great success
i just take a wad pollyfill and use the bread tie that comes with the bags to secure it to allow ge during colonization, then cut the bag away for fruiting.
with the bags, if i see one going green or just dont like the way it looks i can move it outside away from the others.
i already posted this in another thread but thought i would share in the main thread section so it would be seen
when i say i im referring to my bro in the Netherlands

i have tried casing these but its not needed
i want to say about 225g+ wet per bag but i could be wrong, i usually use horse and or cow manure, but i have used coir and mixes of all three. all work great i get at least 5 flushes on every bag...well after 5 im not sure you could call them flushes but they keep popping out shrooms so i keep picking them.
this is why i stopped using big ass monos and cake pans not that there is anything wrong with those methods i just decided this was easier to maintain
again when i say i: im referring to my bro in the Netherlands

A bag and a filter?
I'm pretty sure that's called a spawn bag...
Downfall, you can't PC the bag.
Cool for experimenting. But not at all productive. Kinda ghetto.

unproductive as in a progression in teks. This is downgrading from even the easiest teks in these forums.
Read a dictionary.
This is pretty much vouching that a bag is good to use for fruiting. That sounds terrible. Possible, but not at all good compared to the teks available.
I said it was cool. Now leave me alone.
A bag is a bag is a bag is a bag is a bag is a bag is a bag is a bag is a bag.

Actually it is called a bread bag with filtered air exchange, and seems to produce extremely well.
When has ghetto been bad? Why do you need to PC the bag?

Pressure cookers are great for sterilizing things like grain and substrates.
Usually people who look to use bags, want to PC them to sterilize the substrate. I said that to inform people looking to replace spawn bags with this.
Polyfil is a filter. So is mycro pore tape, so is stiffened felt, so is a SFD, so is tyvek.
Don't you know about filters?

1:$$$you have to look at cost vs production$$$
2: i use jars for grains and sterilization so i have jars but an apartment with lots of jars laying around draws attention.
3: these wont work for sterilization and probably not pasteurization don't bother
the bags were $1 for 100 and they work just fine for a mini bulk grow it splits up the grow so you can remove contaminated bags.
ghetto mushrooms and ghetto kool-aid still get you really high.
this works ,the bags are sterile and cheap

Do you sterilize your bulk inside a monotub? No, you pasteurized and then transfer to a medium to let it colonize.
Great idea OP, nothing groundbreaking, but still a novel idea that I'm sure will help someone someday.

Leave it to a noob to bump an old thread lmao was wondering what vendor you purchased your spores from. Obviously they (along with your technique) did something right.

Any vendor that sponsors shroomery are very trusted. I'd start there.
