Must win football. Jets, Titans, Raiders, Chargers, Giants all fighting for one of those fickle wildcard spots. This is where shit really gets fun. The margin for error becomes tighter and tighter.

Giants actually have an edge on Dallas right now. And they should beat Washington again today.

This is the best time for football. The AFC race is tighter than Nick Saban's asshole this week. for the first time in history I will be rooting for RuthlessRaper and the Steelers as it will give my Saints a lock on the NFC 2 seed if they beat SF. The NFC is a cluster fuck of good and bad as always. Green Bay and New Orleans are the only teams winning consistently and with style. I think New Orleans travels to GB and plays a great game. I don't know if we can pull it off in the frozen tundra but that is our fault for losing to them the first game of the season. I know that we would win in the Dome, just as GB most likely will at Lambeau. That leaves us with figuring out who will rep the AFC??? Pats? Steelers? Houston? My logic says Pats as of now. They have a healthy team, and some D. Pitt is getting shakey and injuries are amassing. Denver is led by a hope and a prayer, Houston is the best team since the Aints at shooting themselves in the foot and finally Baltimore cant decide what team to bring to games. In conclusion Pats vs The Pack. Winner.......Packers. That was a realistic perspective on things but if you want to know how I feel truly? Saints route everyone by 20+ and rush..thats right...rush to victory in their 2nd superbowl. WHO DAT BABY.

How about those Lions? I don't know how far they could go (probably not far), but dude.
5 wins this year when trailing by 13 or more. NFL record. And Matt Stafford is on the verge of being one of the top 5 quarterbacks in all of football by the way.

pats are way over rated. they were ranked in the middle of strength of schedule at the beginning of this year, but that was based on last years W/L and so many teams have fallen off, like the jets.
the pats have no run game and one of the worst defenses in the league. no way they make it to the superbowl. if they do it will be such a pathetic superbowl. GB, saints, and 49ers would crush the pats and make Madonna the only reason to keep watching after the first half is over.

Hold up now, brah. I'll give you the Pack and Saints maybe, but the Niners?! LMAO @ that one.
I'm no Patriots fan but you're off your rocker if you think the frigging Niners would blow out the Patriots. The Niners have benefited by playing in the worst division in the history of sports and they'll be gone early as fuck in the playoffs. My guess is they'll be gone in their first playoff game...but if home field holds up for them and they survive to go onto the road to face GB or New Orleans...good lord, man. It will be a fucking massacre.

49ers have had a tougher schedule than the patriots. plain and simple.
you say seahawks, cardinals and rams... i say jets, buffalo and miami. I would say that the pats division is a ball hair tougher than the nfc west this year, but the other 8 games on the schedule for the 49ers were way tougher opponents than the nancy's the pats got to play.
the 49ers have a +21 turnover ratio right now. I dont know if you watched the game last night, but the patriots looked very mediocre on offense.
wouldnt be nearly as much of an ass whooping as the saints and packers could lay on the pats, but the 49ers would win it with ease.

I agree. The niners are much better than the Patriots.

I choose the pats almost solely on current health of the team and and Tom Brady alone.
I don't think there is anyone in the AFC that is going to beat them in New England. i don't think they will slip from the 1st seed because i don't see the fins or the bills beating them in the next 2 weeks.
Detroit is a good team in the NFC, but they are missing a bit of depth. Think...Calvin J. and Matt S. can do so much on Offence. Suh can do a tonne on Defence, but compare them to a team like the saints with Brees, Coleston, Moore, Henderson, Sprolles, Thomas and company on Offence, and whichever Defence the saints decide to bring, and I will place my money on teh safe bet every time. Only thing that is going to stop New Orleans is the Weather in Lambeau.

San Diego.... loosely translated as "a whales vagina that angers and destroys the playoff picture for the AFC on an annual basis, only to be eliminated in the first round
See also: "New Orleans"... Teaching San Diego players how to win since 2005.

my exact thoughts. I bet the vegas line on that game changes with the forecast. I know they need to take it one game at a time, but i seriously hope the saints start training in meat lockers for the rest of the year.

I must say now that I have underestimated the 49ers. They are looking pretty stout tonight on both sides of the ball. Not to mention the fact that they are ruining my Saints Superbowl fantasy. Damnit.
Lets see how thrilled Steve Young is after the game.
