LSD and a psychedelic album
    #15526968 - 12/16/11 04:13 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

Ok, so to make a long question short... I plan on dosing 3 tabs tonight, and I want to do something, that I definitely should have done by now.

I plan on sitting down with my nice Bose headphones, and listening to a full album.  The only problem is I'm having trouble deciding what album(s).  So...

What album(s) stand out to you as completely mind blowing?

I'm an avid lover of the classics,  and so far I'm thinking

Strange Days- The Doors
Piper at the Gates of Dawn-  Pink Floyd's first album (only one with Sid)
Surrealistic Pillow- Jefferson Airplane

What do you guys think?

More modern, but the last few days I've really been wanting to listen to Kid Cudi's "Man On the Moon" album start to finish on acid.

i think there is no reason that you couldn't just listen to all three of them during one acid trip.

Might be to late but I would highly reccomend you check this out while on LSD:
Bassnectar - Mesmerizing The Ultra
It's one of his older albums and in my opinion is perfect for an LSD trip.

I always just with pair my LSD with STS9 these days, though. Or some other jamish band... or Shpongle. I can really only get into Shpongle when I'm shrooming though for some reason...

A personal favorite of mine is InnerSpeaker by Tame Impala. I had the greatest time of my life listening to that on 2 hits of some WoW last year :awecid:

I have two reccomendations:

Goodbye Melody Mountain by Samuel Jackson Five
they're an instrumental progressive rock band, this album is written about an acid trip

Campfire Songs by Animal Collective
This album is very early and acoustic. They achieve beautiful natural ambient soundss by recording the album with a hand recorder in the corner of a porch outside in the rain.

When I listened to it on my last trip outside, by a very gorgeous coincidence, the wind would pick up as soon as you hear it happen in the song, and when it rained in the song, we got rained on!
