Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
found them growing on a giant pile of wood chips in the woods
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
gills are tan, same color as the rest of the mushroom. no evidence of veil, but these were found late in the life cycle.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Thin stem, sort of fragile, not sure if hollow or not. textured but not rough. stems were very dirty so not sure about stem color, seems to be off white
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
caps ranging from dime sized to quarter sized. spherical, caps are dome'd to flat depending on how old the mushroom was in its life cycle. old ones tended to flip upwards at the edges.
Spore print color: Very important!
spore print... eh i have a cap sitting on foil, but i got dark spores on my hands i believe, didnt seem like dirt.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
bruising was the first thing i looked for, hard to tell because the stems are so dirty but it bruised dark, could not tell if blue or purple
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
Other information, grew in clusters on wood chips, found them in oklahoma in december, it had been doing a slow drizzle the past couple of days. i squeezed a few trying to check bruising. i can swear im on a very low dose trip after handling them for an hour. perspective zooms out and things tilt o.O odd. anyway here are the photos, i tried to get some while they were growing and a closeup while on a black scale.

I can swear that's total bollocks. Handling mushrooms will not make you trip -- especially these ones, as they're not psychoactive.

here are some gill shots. im shooting the photos with my droid so theyre a little blurry i hope you can make them out alright. the lighting is off on the one without a stem, i was using it to make a spore print, made the gills look darker.

lol thank you all for your quick answers. and thank you for the laugh i got from reading this
i was really hoping they were, i had gotten turned down for a job today after being "hired" for a month and dicked around, so me and a friend decided to take a walk in the woods talking about how we really wish we had some molly and then we got to talking about how we wanted something natural and i was thinking of starting another grow, and we looked down and there they were and it was like O__________O;;; the universe responds!! so i just had to at least get an ID of them. if they were psychoactive, i think that would have been the best synchronicity in a find ever

Look for Big laughing Gymnopilus growing from downed trees and stumps. Look for big yellow mushrooms that grow in the woods, on wood. Best of luck to you. Sorry about the job.
