sgfc - misting/fanning?

I need a little help with my sgfc. I hear I need to mist/fan 3x a day. So I have been misting once in the morning when I wake up, once in the evening, then once at night before I go to sleep. And then obviously I just leave it while I sleep. Is that right? Does it matter which I do first, the misting or fanning? How much misting/fanning is too much/not enough? Does the size of the sgfc make a difference between how much to mist/fan? the dimensions by WxLxH are 13x17x14 at the top and the base is 12x16x14
If someone could just post how exactly they maining their fruiting chambers so I can get an idea of how to do it I would appreciate it.The posts I have searched say what to do but don't go into very much detail
After I previewed this post there was the similar threads list which I looked at and that just made me more confused, some say to fan more then you mist, some say to fan/mist 4 or more times a day some say 3. So yea any help would be appreciated.
edit: also so I don't have to make a new thread, I have a tray in my fruiting chamber. It is like a tub tray thing that is dark blue. I thought it would block out the light on the sides to prevent pinining except for the top but it looks like there are starting to be some knotting on the sides, should I take if out and just set the block of mycelium on some foil in the chamber? because if it starts to pin on the sides there is no room for them to grow there lol

you have to listen to the mycelium
if my cakes look dry i mist, if they look wet i dont
fanning is wake up before i leave when i get home before dinner late night and before i go to bed i try to fan every two hours but dont revolve my schedule around it
i ussualy mist first because water evaporation is a pinning trigger but if they look really dry ussually mornings/before sleep i mist fan and then lightly mist
you need to make your own routine fan As much as possible withought dropping RH, Misting everyother fan every fan or not at all. and put them on a 12/12 6500K light cycle

First things first, get yourself a hygrometer to measure humidity inside your fruiting chamber. You can get a nice analog hygrometer off eBay for around $8-10. Don't get a digital one, they're worthless in this situation. Keep the humidity up around 95-100% and you should be fine.
Mist, THEN fan at least 4 times a day. Fanning after you mist ensures that drops of water aren't left on your fruits or cakes. If you're gonna mist and fan more than 4 times a day, only mist every other time that you fan. The more, the better, but they'll be just fine to leave alone while you're at work.

ok thanks, and it is already pinning like crazy. I got a hygrometer but it is crap and if I order another one that actually works it will take at least a week to get.

Good to hear that they're pinning. You shouldn't have any worries from here on out. But, go ahead and invest in that hygrometer if you plan to keep growing. Here's a link to one for $7 that'll work fine in a SGFC: Hygrometer or an even better one: Hygrometer 2

Thanks I will look into that one for my next grow.. but I am still kind of having problems lol mostly contams which I posted about in the contam forum, but it is my first attempt so it might just be nothing and I am just worrying over nothing

I am not sure lol. Definitally had cobweb which I took care of. But I used to much h2o2 so I am not sure If I damaged the mycelium with that or If I have another contam which idk what it would be if it is a contam.

put it in a spray bottle with like 4:1 h2o2/h2o then sprayed all over cobweb which made it go away, after that I let the top open for fae (which is what made it start to pin) and sprayed like 2 more times a day for a couple days to make sure it didn't come back which I found out I did not need to do lol.

Moisture content is probably the culprit here. I use to have a problem with cobweb if I fucked up and made the jars too dry, but it could still be the cause of your troubles. Hit me with a and we can discuss your method further if you like.
