Losing molars
    #15476209 - 12/06/11 06:10 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

two molars next to each other are basically all fillings now which are about to fall out so the doctor said she's gonna have to pull them. they're not hurting and i think the nerve has been dead a long time now. anyway losing a few teeth really bums me out, luckily they're in the back so its not visible. its somehow really depressing. anyone have any experience with pulling molars? any ups or downs related with it? really tryin to see an upside to this

Less teeth to brush and floss.

According to my dentist, getting a crown on a tooth that is close to 100% filling is a poor decision as it will need constant dental maintenance.  I had a back right molar mad filled when I was like 10 and that tooth started hurting like HELL.  Eventually, I went to the dentist and just had that fucker pulled for like 100 bucks.  SHIT HURTS LIKE HELL.  Seriously, more than any pain I have ever experienced for 15+ minutes.  The sound is terrible as well.  It's like 1,000 times worse than nails on chalkboard.  Might I add that I had numerous shots of novocaine and it did not help at all.  I would just ask the doc to put you out.  :goodluck:

You're lucky.  I had to wait like 3 weeks.  There are like 2 dentists here.  :laser:

i took mdma last night and talked like crazy all night, then my whole tooth fell out. it doesn't hurt but a piece of tooth is stil lstanding like a jagged rock against the side of the tongue... i talked it raw and didnt notice because of molly. now starting to come down and i cant speak or even swallow properly because the tooth shard is stabbing the tongue. called my dentist and she or one of her employees will "file" it smooth until i get my real appointment
