So I am always on the lookout for mushrooms whenever and wherever I go. That being said, I would love to show some different types of mushrooms I've found. I will not be identifying them since I am not skilled enough to do so. I will number them if anybody is able to. I hope everyone enjoys my finds! (I will update as much as possible)
1. Unidentified.
2a. Nice lookin' Oysters 2b.
3. Amanita variety. This is in my top 3 finds.

4a. Chlorophylum variety. I found this and knew something grand was on its way..
4b. This was found a day later... blew my mind.
 4c. Sewer friend.
 4d. Thing's huge.
 4e. Gill action.

5a. Unidentified. Again, I found this growing on a down oak and knew something was coming..
5b. And sure enough a few days later this giant monstrosity of a fungi was found!
5c. Same variety but found in different location.

6. Unidentified. Found these wavy guys chillin under a down tree trunk.

Hope y'all enjoyed my finds! Feel free to identify tithe ones you feel confident about! I will post more soon.

Hey thanks for the identifications! No, unfortunately not, but I remember they were very much the same color as the mushroom itself.

5 is most likely a laetiporus species, probably sulphureus. Thanks for sharing finds!

Are you sure your Chlorophyllum species isn't Macrolepiota procera?

1. Probably Hypholoma fasciculare or something similar. 2. oysters. Nice looking lil cluster, too. 3. I'm thinking A. parcivolvata. Did it have an annlus? It appears not from the pic. But if it did, it could be A. flavoconia. 4. a Chlorophyllum. 5. Laetiporus, it appears.

Yes. Looking at the two edged annulus and the smooth stipe, it appears to be in Chlorophyllum.
Macrolepiota has a rather flocculose stipe and its annulus is one ringed and rather ephemeral.

cool...also Chlorophyllum do not all have double edged rings. In fact, it's one of the macroscpic details that separate the species in that genus.

What do you think of this find? Both double-edged and single-edged rings were present...

ok guess the link works now.... wow, that is odd.
I use Else Vellinga's compiled work and keys for Chlorophyllum... I don't question her work one bit, I do however question my ability to objectively study and apply her findings to the numerous observations...
Besides that, a PERFECT specimen may show very clearly all the macroscopic details...but when does that ever happen... Interesting for sure, will neat to see what your microscopy shows!

#6 could be Hypholoma or Gymnopilus I think.Hard to tell from that pic tho.

I don't see an annular spore deposit, so I'm going with Tricholomopsis. I never noticed 6.

I'll buy that, looks like there could be some white-ish spore deposits on a couple caps.#6 was added in sometime after the original post.
