There are several sclerotia species..

Here's a link to one harvest of stones, Psilocybe Galindoi..

They don't require fruiting conditions, just spawn jars/bags and a little extra time... but you can fruit if you want to, or just expand the mycelium after the first stone harvest into tubs of substrate, they'll continue to give you more stones after that..

Start 10 jars a week.. harvest a couple after two months, you'll have plenty from a few jars to keep you happy, the rest of your efforts are harvestable anywhere from 2months to a year.. I currently have some testing bags entering the 15month stage. Depending on your moisture levels when you start, stone rot can start to set in around 5 months - but with the right moisture levels you can pull much longer..

Do a search of "Easier than Cubes", or "Sclerotia", you'll have plenty of info after that.

That's amazing dude, ill have to check it out.. Dissapointed by how long it takes, but certainly a fascinating alternative.. When I get up to 50 posts, ill have to remember to rep you :smile:
