Reading this thread, the responses of people like Icelander and learningtofly sound like the responses of religious fanatics to someone questioning your dogma. "Read the book and then you'll truly understand." Give me a fucking break.

i see where your coming from but it would be nice if one of the posters who says DA doesn't exist actually read becker so he/she could argue directly against the source. it would make for a more stimulating conversation.

This is not a binary argument. There is a possibility that some experience Death Anxiety and some don't.

So recommending someone familiarize themselves with the material is wrong now? You have a bad case of death anxiety dude.
Oh and religions don't have much evidence that they are connected to reality.

There's a possibility that the FSM rules the world. What's your point?

Is that what you say to everyone who disagrees with you in the slightest?
And then, when OP asked why he should read the book if it was just going to give him death anxiety (or make him more aware of it, whatever -- a legitimate concern in my book) you jump directly to the personalisms. "Are you old enough to post here?" Rational debate a level too high for you?
I'm not trying to insult you -- just trying to figure out why your posts seem so weak.

I'm trying use my sense of humor. I honestly don't remember this thread due to the fact that it's about a year old so I don't remember what I said in it and I don't feel like reading all the pages of it to get back up to speed. Get it?
If there's a personalism then report it to the mods. Do it now. Get justice for yourself and don't wait for others to protect your freedoms. Merry Xmas dude.
Wow?
