Light orange on cake

is this a contam? theres a light orangy colour on one of my cakes...or could it be piss or what?

You should be able to give the most complete information avaiable (we also need help from you to help you :smile:), anything not white or blue is not good, that's all i can say.

I would watch them for a few days there is a chance that the mycelium will take over but if the orange gets any darker or bigger toss it.

they'r probably contams. like strawberry said, toss your jars back in the incubator and your mycelium may reclaim the infected area. good luck..

but it was a fruiting cake, which didnt make sense, i thought bacteria couldnt colonate on it, especially with the sunlight? (its tossed now, btw)
