when to fruit

ok, so afoaf got pretty good at the whole pf tek deal which he did often for bout a yr and 1/2 at which point he was forced into temp hyadus(or however u spell it), now he is gettin back into it a due to the bountiful results he has seen reported from it hes gone with rye berries and wants to case, he tried this once (with cakes) and achieved a textbook case of overlay, and has always been nervous bout trying it again, but he is determined, and has made a small casing out of bout 1/3 the contents of a qt jar,(what he ahd left over after afew g2g transfers) in a small plastic container bout 4 1/2 inches square, he wants to know when he should go from vegetative to fruiting stage, in TMC stamet said some species stop growth imediatly once the temp drops and others keeps going for a sec, and depending on that u should begin fruiting when 20-90of the valleys show myc, which is correct for cubensis?

u know it aint funny when u aint got no money and the clock strikes 420 and u wanna get high

I just fruit when all the valleys are evenly poking through w/ mycelium; keep in mind it will probably still grow a bit after you fruit it until it pins. I do it at about 20%.

If it isn't growing evenly, i.e. one side is growing through first, patching is probably in order.
