I have a question.
My PC don't have any pressure gauge so I cant check how much psi does it have, what do you guys recommend?. Secondly the jars are touching the water and the floor of the PC would it break???.

The jars shouldn't break, but they can dry out some if they're right on the bottom.
As for pressure, it should have a rocker that will jiggle when the pc is up to pressure. The pressure it'll rock at would be in the manual or maybe on the website for the cooker.

Your pressure cooker looks small, I've had one similar before buying something bigger, the rocker hissing is good. If its rocking and making a lot of noise its too much pressure and you don't wanna run it dry so turn it down to a fine hiss.
To test if its fully pressurized and hott enuff even at just 10 psi you should be able to drop water droplets onto your pc and they should evaporate basically instantly.
I used to pc bird seed and rye at 10 psi til I upgraded my equipment but don't really recomend it.

Thanks.
I can surely see the vapor coming out of the pressure cooker that means its working right? After all the vapor is what is important. Right now I am testing with 1 jar to see what happens I am going to drop the 4 jars after this one comes out. Thanks for the info, Ill post more pics after this.

That pressure cooker looks like the presto one. I am thinking that these are set for 15psi, but 12 psi springs to mind also. It wll say in the manual.
Put a towel on the bottom with about an inch or two of water. I wouldnt worry about your grains drying to much. It wont really dry them out unless you run out of water during PC. With the lid off turn it on high. Wait until the water is boiling and then put the lid on it. You should always preheat your PC before putting on the lid. You want it to start hissing out of the wieght to let you know you hit max pressure and then lower your temps to sustain a slight sound. I heat mine up to 15 psi as fast as my stove allows then set it on medium low and it maintains 15psi with a small soft hiss. Once in a while it rocks for a sec but not much. You dont want it to be loudly hissing at you (this will drain your water in your pc and then your grains will dry up). PC for 90 minutes (if it is 15 psi) and let cool for 5 hours minimum. In case you didnt know, but I am sure you do: make sure your PC is cooled of before you open it.

Jars can break in a PC if they are bumping into each other. Don't drop them into boiling water either.

If you only soaked for one hour you could have some issues down the line. The point of the long soak before you PC is too germinate the endospores in the grain (which are heat resistant) to make them vulnerable to the heat of the PC. Not a long enough soak will not cause these endospores to germinate meaning they could survive the PC and con tam your jars later in the process.
Not saying this is a guarantee and your jars will con tam but just a 1 hour soak seems a lot on the light side. 12-16+ hours should be your soak time.

Thanks Bugler
I have been reading and the "best" way to hydrate or make the endospores vulnerable is by simmering... or just letting it soak for 12+ hours.
Ill redo everything again with new WBS and simmering. I want to make sure this is going to work lol.

The soak is to germinate and make the endospores vulnerable, the simmer is to hydrate the WBS to its fullest. The heat forces H2O into the WBS. The simmering process doesn't have shit on the PC as far as killing the endospores and doesn't make them vulnerable. The point of simmering is low heat (around 170 degrees) to not crack the WBS, and you don't boil (212 degrees). The PC is higher than 212 (the point at which water turns to steam) and you see this with the steam that comes out.

I find those poly-fil filters very questionable, I had a hell of a time with tyvek filters and I don't think poly-fil will be much better. I recommend buying some synthetic filter discs from a Shroomery sponsor, The Mad Season has the best price and service from my experience.

poly fill works great, super cheap, available locally and synthetic so germs wont grow on it if its clean. much more FAE than tyvek or filter disks imo.

When you're colonizing jars you want gas exchange (GE) not fresh air exchange. Synthetic filter discs are more assuring than any other type of air filter. I am glad to hear that poly-fil works well for you though.

Those jars look really full. About to start my first WBS to bulk grow and i remember seeing the jars 1/2 maybe 2/3 of the way full.
Other than that, definitely do the soak and simmer. And good luck to you!

Thanks guys.
It have been 3 days from the incubation, Still nothing so far...
I have been reading and it should take 1 week for first sings of mycelium and having in mind that i am using Mazapatecs spores (they are slow colonizers). Will keep updating
