No, you can't use that much H2O2 to make cakes.

If the peroxide doesnt degrade due to the sterilization process then it will kill your spores upon innoculation. As far as the other question's l dont know what would happen, but if you are interested enough try it for yourself, and tell us the results.

flour alone will not work, and whole wheat isnt recommended when you can use brown rice and get much better results. flour alone will not work because the substrate needs to be very airy, and it will just clump up once water is added, if by chancce u actually manage to find the correct water ratio needed for colonization. i wouldnt recommend any of your ideas, really, just follow a tek, and if thats not good for ya, move to another one until u find what suits your needs.

Try not to substitute vermiculite in pf cakes. If you want to use whole grains, there are a lot of grain teks out there, follow those instead. Whole grain rice works great, but probably not pf style. Also, you will need to use a pc if you are planning on doing whole grains.

On the other hand, If you want to substitute brf, there are a lot of good alternatives that work with the pf tek. I hear oats, rye flour, and ground up birdseed all work great. To my knowledge, nobody has ever recomended wheat flour though, but what the hell, why not try it in just one jar?

Why not use the tried and true methods that have been in use for many many years :-)

Once you have a thorough understanding of the growth process and the needs of a fungus, then start experimenting. Get the Mushroom Cultivator. Get Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms. Learn the PF tek to perfection. Then learn grain to perfection. Then... have fun! Early deviation from the standards is certain recipe for failure until you have some experience under your belt and understand the parts that are malleable and up for experimentation (types of substrate, etc.) and the ones that aren't (using large amounts of chemicals that kill spores, ie. peroxide)

All in all, you won't get much better results deviating from standard practice. Mind blowing advances in mushroom cultivation are few and far between and take many years of trial and error before being perfected. Just deciding to dump a bunch of brown rice flower into a jar and expect some kind of "new thing" to happen isn't going to work. Especially since all the things you mentioned have been tried many times by many people. A quick search of the forums will show you that.
