Cremation, spread, somehow I feel that it's just a parade of misery when somebody dies: slow driving/walking from the church to the burial grounds then an hour or so until the body is buried. I don't want to perpetrate that.

I would rather be buried than Cremated. I know I wouldnt feel the cremation but I dont wanna take any chances. If i was cremated I would rather be on a shelf than thrown into the wind tho, that would be kinda cool chillin on a shelf etc. And I would rather have a traditonal funeral, I dont want a natural burial where someone murders me and buries me in a shallow grave, and I rather have a open casket. Unless someone blasts my head off with a shotgun i see no reason not to have a open casket funeral.

Invalid poll, no STAL. Also, I want to be put on a funeral pyre and floated off into the north sea. My service will be Christian, or at least my interpretation on it.
And I'm saving up money so there's drinks, drugs and hookers for everyone. I'll fucking come back to haunt anyone not having a good time at my fucking funeral.

I'd be cremated, (I too have the fear of being eaten by worms) then scattered somewhere beautiful and peaceful. Perhaps a forest or lake, I don't know somewhere nice anyways.

Natural burial sans casket. Bury me on top of a grassy hill in the middle of a cow pasture and plant a live oak or white oak over my body. That way the tree will use my body's nutrients to grow into a big and beautiful oak, providing food and shelter for birds and squirrels and buggies, shade for cattle, and acorns for deer. Maybe a lucky kid will come by and climb that tree, and see the beauty of the world.

Just the tree. For those that know me at my time of death the tree will always be there for them to visit and will live for many generations after they're gone

Cremation + spread out. Some people like to workship tombstones, I'd prefer people to have other means to stay connected (or not connected) with the past. If you know what I mean?

To be honest, I wouldn't really care. I guess it would just depend on what's cheaper for the people that are dealing with my dead body.

I hope to have money set aside for my own funeral. That shit is expensive. And it sucks making arrangements so soon after someone has dies.
