I see a spent seed pod has fallen into the very corner of the loph pot, not attached to the loph at all. Fair game!

I thought this initially but then I thought it does look rather cool with all the seed pods still attached and I can see why they left them alone, not every cactus grower is a prolific propagator like some of us. It adds to the overall look of the cactus imo.

when you grow the lophophora, propagation has to be of the utmost importance.

i was there , it was my first time seeing such magnificent displays. spewing i only had about $60.00 to spend. will definately take the videocam and a bucketload of cash to the next meeting i attend. was like being a kid in a candy store!

$60 is chickenfeed at a place like that. I learnt this my first year as well.
