What ever happened to the great guitar player from Yes after he left Yes and started Asia?

Hi Ripple  he still tours with Yes when they do their reunion tours, and he's also appeared sporadically live with Dream Theatre.........

I used to love this song:

HEAT OF THE MOMENT
Asia
Then and Now
Written by: Wetton/Downes

I never meant to be so bad to you
One thing I said that I would never do
One look from you and I would fall from grace
And that would wipe this smile right from my face

Do you remember when we used to dance
And incidence arose from circumstance
One thing lead to another we were young
And we would scream together songs unsung

Chorus:
It was the heat of the moment
telling me what your heart meant
Heat of the moment shone in your eyes

And now you find yourself in 82
The disco hotspots hold no charm for you
You can't cincern yourself with bigger things
You catch the pearl and ride the dragon's wings

Chorus

And when your looks are gone and you're alone
How many night's you sit beside the phone
What were the things you wanted for yourself
Teenage ambition you remember well

Chorus
(2 times)

Those 3 or 4 Yes albums he appeared on in the early 70's(including the live one) were classics....Howe was also voted best rock guitarist in Guitar Player magazine for 5 years running(most years allowed) in the mid 70's. Eddie Van Halen took over and did the same thing from 78 through 83

Anyone remember the album he did with Steve Hackett? It was called GTR and it contained my favorite Howe guitar piece called Sketches in the Sun, stunningly beautiful.

Shit man, I thought you where talking about Steve Howe, the former Coke`D up, washed-out Dodger's pitcher!

Weird how (no pun) peeps have the same names. For instance I go to skewl with a Phillip Morris, man should ask him for some money.
