I love Jimi Hendrix's music. Its so good! Do a lot of people like listening to his music while trippin?

I figure I would. With such great songs like wind cries mary, fire, angel, all along the watchtower, burning of the midnightlamp and much more!

I cant wait to go buy his boxset(sadly I still haven't bought it)

can anyone share their experiences while trippin and listenin to hendrix?

im  a huge hendrix fan, have you heard his blues cd?  its just nuts, take 3 grams put that in and go skating on a bananna board.

i have his live at the isle of whight cd too,(Blue Wild Angel) that one is great, there's a killer version of machinegun on it.

those are the tunes :smile:

Everytime i trip hedrix is there with me.  The boxset is fucking awesome, you have to pick it up.  Same with Band Of Gypys and Live at the Filmore East (the double CD set).  I can't even put into words how much I love his music; you can hear that guys soul screaming.  He makes colors change like no other musician I've listened to.

Hendrix is a trip even without shrooms :smile:.

Hendrix can tear some shit up real good. He's on my 60's trip compilation so i'll be listening to him when i first shroom. Can't wait to hear what that's like.

Well said! Have you ever seen a video of him playing? That is some amazing shit. Pick up the woodstock DVD if you haven't already, his performance of voodoo chile is incredible. It's like the sound is coming directly from HIM.

Yeah man, the Woodstock DVD is priceless. The expressions on his face as he hits some of those notes....gives me the chills. Anybody know what (if anything) he was on during that show? I can't make out his pupils from the video, but he must have been flyin' high.

Glad you like....but then again, how could you not :smile:.

The version of Message of Love they play at the intro is my favorite tune on the thing, its a shame they couldn't show the actual video of it (some sort of copyright battle or whatever).  I also heard that as an encore, Hendrix was going to play 'Valleys of Neptune" but forgot the words at the last moment and instead played 'Hey Joe' (again, not on the dvd for copyright reasons).  Valleys of Neptune is an amazing song, if you haven't heard it already, check it out.  The only version I've heard (I believe the only one in existence) is super rough work in progress, and doesn't even have a bass.  Still rocks though.
