If you dont mind ill ask another question:
If u use powderd WBS or Pop corn for the pf tec in place of BRF do you need a filter disk??

And im preaty sure u should use a filter disk.. Or some poly fill(Pillow fill) just put a 1/4in hole in the lid and stuff poly fill in there.

I use popcorn for spawning all the time, and all I use to filter is poly fill. You can get it at Wal-Mart really cheap.

I have a question about Polyfill; When you shake your grain jars, doesnt all the moisture from the jars wick into the polyfill? Not a problem?

as opposed to a filter or polyfill...try tyvek....easy way to get these is to go to the post office and request a few or order them online :
Express Mail Tyvek Envelope
Format:
Tyvek
Dimensions:
11.625 X 15.125
Item #:
EP 13-C
Price:
no charge

dont abuse it....they are reusable, made from HDPE and acan be steam sterilized
each envelope should yeild about 16 filters.....and reuse them as often as possible

My friend just went to walmart and bought some polyfill today; only $1.59. Then he went to the post office and picked up some envelopes; free. He though the stuff might have been hard to find, but it ended up being really easy! The polyfill is in the fabrics section.

If you can't get your hands on polyfill or tyvek you could always try micropore tape.

Didn't you ask this same question a few days ago ???
